- In the event that an accident occurs, employees are required to immediately notify their Supervisor and Safety Representative. Within 8 hours of the incident, a member of management will accompany the employee to the clinic for a DOT drug & alcohol test. A fully detailed accident report is also due within 8 hours of the accident.
- An investigation is conducted by a member of management and a member of the safety department.
- We work closely with Axiom on incident/case management.
- The clinics we currently use are Atascosa Screening, WK Work Kare, and Quality Urgent Care. However, if emergency care is needed, the employee is to go to the nearest emergency room for treatment.
